Welcome to TAPS - The Arts Project Syracuse, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free drawing instruction to under-resourced kids in Syracuse, New York. Our mission is to empower children through the arts and provide them with the tools they need to express themselves creatively and artistically.

Our teachers have a unique connection to the community they serve. They grew up going to the boys and girls club in which they now provide drawing lessons and other arts education programs. As representatives of the Arts Project Syracuse, our teachers work to engage with the community to ensure that they understand the challenges that many of these children face. We are passionate about providing the youth of Syracuse an opportunity to view themselves as artists.

At TAPS, we believe that every child deserves access to quality arts education, regardless of their background or financial situation. We are proud to offer our services free of charge, thanks to the generous support of our donors and volunteers.

We are humbled and honored to be able to make a difference in the lives of these children. Through our programs, we have seen firsthand the transformative power of the arts. Children who were once shy and withdrawn have blossomed into confident, creative individuals who are eager to share their talents with the world.
